The sculpture is by Charlie Hewitt.

The exquisite painting created by esteemed North Carolina artist John Beerman for the collectors. This artwork was commissioned from a photograph captured during a family diving excursion to their cherished vacation destination.

Interestingly, the owners take pride in their Michigan roots and have an unwavering passion for their favorite NHL team… Go Red Wings!

The sculpture titled “Hund” by Stephan Balkenhol serves as a tribute to their beloved dog, Harvey. Animals, particularly dogs, are exceptionally rare and highly sought after among Balkenhol collectors.

Our clients are passionate about collecting North Carolina Pottery! Here, you’ll find the fun graphic fish motif beautifully paired with a 1950s Andy Warhol shoe, showcasing the artist’s incredible talent as a draftsman.
Check out this petite kinetic piece by the rising star Tarik Currimbhoy! The collectors are excited fans of the artist’s work.
This meticulously curated collection features one of the owners’ esteemed possessions, an artwork (lower left) by Pablo Picasso. This unique impression is the only copy of the work in private ownership. The owners’ careful curation connects it sentimentally with a familial heirloom crafted by the esteemed Midwest American Impressionist T.C. Steele. Furthermore, the collection includes a painting of the Fairway at Old Head, a Rembrandt etching the first artwork they acquired, , and a John Beerman painting reflecting the beauty of North Carolina. This exquisite collection shares a prominent place on the mantel with a gold sculpture by Arnaldo Pomodoro.
Andy Warhol’s Truck, a unique Trial Proof, along with a Henri Matisse piece, is positioned above a meticulously crafted layered mathematical geometric abstraction by Greg Parker. Similar to the owners, Mr. Parker is an alumnus of Cranbrook Academy. To the left, one can find a drawing by the Filipino contemporary master Alphonso Ossorio.
The bed finials of the master bedroom serve as an exemplary frame for the three-hole work by Martin Puryear.
“Using angled lines as his primary unit, Berner Venet reduces form to pure intention. The work treats geometry not as decoration, but as a record of decision—where balance, interruption, and exactitude quietly collide.”
‘Ghost Ship’ is a distinguished work by Dorothy Cross, serving as a personal tribute to lightships, which were once commonly observed along the Irish coast. This artwork is a photoetching executed with phosphorescent ink on paper, designed to absorb light during the day and emit a glow at night. It is part of the permanent collection at the National Gallery of Ireland.

Below are Julian Opie’s video portraits of crows! These stunning works transform movement into mesmerizing loops, showcasing the beauty of these birds in striking black silhouettes as they elegantly pace, hop, and pause.

The wooden Bird assemblage is by artist Tony Fitzpatrick, to the right is a harbor view by Milton Avery from the late 1930’s that simplifies the forms and emphasize broad color fields — classic Avery territory.
